Bluetooth
I have tried to pair a couple of different iPhones with my MacBook Pro and none have worked. But these phones would pair with other bluetooth devices. Could the problem be with the MacBook Pro bluetooth?

Paired how? What is it you are try to accomplish?
Hotspot?
Airdrop?
Continuity?
Finder?
Typically WiFi and Bluetooth should always be on...
Locate and view your iPhone or iPad on your computer
How to back up your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch
Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch with the Finder
Use Continuity to work across Apple devices
