My iPhone will not allow AirTag to download.
If you are having a hard time twisting the AirTag open, I found a trick that worked well for me. After struggling to open it for an hour, I took two pieces of scotch tape and looped them over so they were sticky on both sides. I put one the front and one on the back, which allowed me to grip the covers and rotate counter clockwise until it opened.
My AirTags won’t connect to our phones. We’ve used them before and they worked fine. I’ve installed new 2032 batteries and still no connection. I also have the latest software.
Is your iPhone Bluetooth working and is your iPhone updated to iOS 17 or the latest iOS version?
To reset the AirTag, take the battery out 5 times, making sure you hear the device chirp each time. A technician at our Apple Store gave me the tip.

Pulled tab on AirTag did not sync with my cell phone
Resorted to heavy duty tape i.e Duck Tape or equivalent. Works a charm!!

I used a small suction cup from my sons bath toys bag after struggling to open with my thumbs and it immediately opened
the design of the airtag and how hard it is to open has got to be one of the epic fails in history of apple’s “it should just work” model.
