How do I convert page files to word files

Using Pages for Mac:

In the Edit menu, choose Export to

   to open the list of formats to which you can Export your Pages document.

Choose Word.

You will also likely be asked to choose a folder in which to Save the exported file.

Note that Exporting a file to a different format does NOT save the original file, but does leave the Pages version open in the application. Use Save to save the current version of the Pages document, if you wish to keep that version.

Tap on the document name (top left) to bring up the option to Export > Word.
