Apple Watch 4 - quick battery drain

Hello everyone,

For about 2 weeks my AW4 consumes too much battery:

I tried:

  • re-pairing watch and iPhone 12 Pro as a new watch
  • disabling background refresh, Wi-Fi and notifications
  • enabling battery save mode
  • force reset on both devices
  • uninstalling all 3rd-party apps
  • installing WatchOS 9.3 RC

…and nothing helps!

This started when I received the watch from service which was replacing the screen, but I’m not sure it could be linked with battery problem (my friend with AW5 had similar problem which resolved itself 2 days later + I see some users from forum have same problems after WatchOS 9/9.1/9.2 updates).

Any ideas?

Sorry, but there's nothing we can do to help you. Since you allowed your watch to be serviced by someone other than Apple, you've lost any service rights with Apple. And we are just users and we can't diagnose an issue which occurred after you had a 3rd party open your watch. You've done all by your list above the troubleshooting steps we could recommend.

Your only recourse is to take it back to the service you paid to service your watch.

In my home, we have Apple Watch 7 and I own the Ultra. Neither watch is having ANY battery issues at all.
