Recently upgraded from catalina to ventura
It has become much worse in terms of design ...
And for several days now I have been suffering with closing windows
For example, if I open photos or, especially, a pdf file, it looks as if the window closes twice
Is this a bug? how can I set up normally?
MacBook Pro 15″, macOS 13.1
I say when I close the program window, you can see that the closing animation works 2 times.
In short, jerky animation.
This is clearly visible at 20 seconds in YouTube videos (link on the post) or you can take a look at the detailed frame-by-frame analysis at link https://youtu.be/cZti11QSttw (here you can see that one frame is missing, because of this, an unpleasant animation is visible)

I do not understand the question or the situation...
I can not understand what that video is suppose to clarify... maybe you can use your words to paint a bigger picture
Photos is an application
a PDF is a file— the default to open a PDF is Preview
What I can say—
typically using the red pill button closes a window— but not necessarily Quit an Application. Use Command Q to quite an application.
Yes there are a few built in apps that do quit the app if you use the red pill button— not all.
Have you shut down and rebooted more than once since you upgraded?
