Migration Assistant stuck with spinning wheel

I've been trying to migrate my data to my new mac. When trying to use Migration Assistant tool, the computer got stuck on the page where to select the account and the wheel is spinning. I can't cancel nor go back (nothing is happening). What do i do? now everything is blocked

Hello doremineko,

We understand you are trying to use Migration Assistant, but it seems stuck at the moment. The first step to try is to restart both systems and try the Migration Assistant process again.

Press and hold the power button on your Mac until it shuts off.
After a moment, press the power button again to start your Mac.
Start the Migration Assistant process again.

If it still gets stuck and won't complete, let us know the following to help narrow down what might be causing the issue:

Are you migrating from another Mac or a Time Machine backup?
How are you connected to the source? (Wi-Fi, physical cable, or external backup source)
If you are transferring between two Macs, which macOS is currently installed on both?
