Itunes LP not playing

I recently purchased the deluxe version of Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys which includes an iTunes LP as a bonus. It was a huge headache even getting the iTunes LP button to appear, and once I finally did it had a pop up saying "The item “Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys (Deluxe Version) - iTunes LP” could not be used because the original file could not be found. Would you like to locate it?" but when I try to my mac has no files listed as .itlp I then deleted it and re-downloaded it, watching the downloads go in a pop up window it showed me the file size of each download, all the songs had a reasonable size, but the LP which did show up in downloads did not have any file size listed, implying it was not really downloaded. Is there a way to get this iTunes LP, because it is the main reason I got the album in this format.

An iTunes LP should download on a Mac as a package with the name <Album Title> - iTunes LP (v2.0).itlp and be stored in the same folder as the tracks of the album. When downloading it may help to select that downloads pop-up window and uncheck the option that allows for simultaneous downloads. Check the album folder to see if anything ended up there, and the Downloads folder inside your media folder in case that has a partial download. You might need to remove the item from the library, clear the Downloads folder, then try again.

I managed to find the downloads folder, which had a folder inside it dedicated to the LP, containing another folder labeled "<Album Title> iTunes LP <Album Title> <Artist>.tmp" And inside it is a file titled info.plst and another .tmp folder containing a behind the scenes video (which is meant to be included but is not everything). I then emptied the whole downloads folder (which included three duplicates of the incomplete LP folder but nothing else) and deleted the album this time with simultaneous download off and watched as the LP file attempted to download but stopped halfway through the progress bar and the progress bar disappeared with no error message displayed and no file size visible. I checked and the same "<Album Title> iTunes LP <Album Title> <Artist>.tmp" was back in the downloads folder with the exact same contents, is there anything I can do to get this download to complete? (I have also tried simply downloading the LP on its own without the other songs to the same result).
