My iphoneXs max is saying I need to download firmware in order to connect HDMI to TV. How do I find this firmware to download?

After downloading latest OS software on both phones, My IPhone XS Max and IPhone 11 is saying I need to download a firmware in order to connect HDMI adapter to TV. How do I find this firmware to download?

iOS 16 update & hdmi connector I updated my iPhone 12 to iOS 16 and now I am unable to watch Netflix on tv via lightning to hdmi connector. The first time I tried it said the accessory firmware had to be downloaded but then the message went away. On Netflix it says playing on tv but doesn’t. Everything was fine before the iOS update. Is there a fix for this?
