my phone is frozen can't unlock it or turn off

I downloaded an app and when I went to go out of it the window popped up to "allow/not allow" notifications. Simultaneously, I pressed the power button to do something else now my phone is on the Lock Screen and shows the window still and I can't hard reset it or even unlock it. what do I do?

Try and Force Restart your iPhone EXACTLY as shown below and see whether that resolves the issue:

Press and quickly release Volume UP button
Press and quickly release Volume DOWN button
Press and Hold the SIDE button until an Apple logo appears and then release the Side button (Can take up to 20 seconds. (DO NOT release Side Button when invited to Slide Power OFF).
