Iphone was deleted from find my iPhone

I received a email saying my phone was lost and that find my iPhone was deleted and I Had very valuable photos I had took today that I need back . I’m so so upset and heart broken . I don’t know what happened or what’s going on but I have my iPhone in my hand and I just want those photos back from today

Has anything actually disappeared from your account? My immediate thought when you said you received an email is this may be phishing.


Scams (e-mail, text messages, and phone calls) are getting very good at closely imitating true Apple communications. Always be cautious. Here are some guidelines:

If it looks like things have been changed on your account, it is difficult to do this by chance. The consideration may then be your Apple ID has been compromised. --> If you think your Apple ID has been compromised - Apple Support
