iphone 11 stuck in endless update loop and no free space

I have a iphone 11. Woke up a few days ago to it stuck on Apple screen. I've had this issue before but this is different. I've tried a hard reboot. Nothing. I've tried recovery mode on my imac to update but it says not enough space to update. I've tried to reset on imac but again it says it needs to download before it resets and not enough space. How do you delete space if you have no access. How do you update or do factory reset if again you need space you don't have.

Hi Brproductions,

Thanks for posting in Apple Support Communities.

We understand that you're unable to update iPhone and iPhone is stuck with Apple logo onscreen. iPhone will need to be placed in recovery mode and restored to regain access. This will remove all content on your device, while updating it to the latest version. If you have a backup that you previously created, you will be able to restore the backup after the restore completes.

"If you see the Apple logo or a red or blue screen during startup, try these steps:

  1. Connect your iPhone to a computer. On a Mac with macOS Catalina, open the Finder. On a Mac with macOS Mojave or earlier, or on a PC, open iTunes. Find out which macOS your Mac is using.
  2. Select your iPhone on your computer.
  3. While your iPhone is connected, follow these steps:
  • On your iPhone 8 or later, including iPhone SE (2nd and 3rd generation): Press and quickly release the volume up button. Press and quickly release the volume down button. Then press and hold the side button.

    • An animation of an iPhone with arrows pointing to the volume up button, then to the volume down button, and then to the side button.
  • On your iPhone 7 or iPhone 7 Plus: Press and hold the side button and volume down button at the same time.
    • An iPhone with arrows pointing to the volume down button and the side button.
    • On your iPhone 6s or earlier, including iPhone SE (1st generation): Press and hold both the Home button and the side button or the top button at the same time.
  1. Keep holding the buttons until you see the recovery mode screen.
  2. An iPhone showing the recovery mode screen.

  3. When you get the option to restore or update, choose Update.
  4. A Finder window showing a prompt with the choice to update or restore your iPhone. Update is selected.

  5. Your computer will download the software for your device. If it takes more than 15 minutes, your device will exit recovery mode. Repeat steps 2-4."

You can find these steps in If your iPhone won't turn on or is frozen.

Regards.
