Got delivered a sealed empty iphone box by apple.

On january 13th i placed an order of an iphone 14 pro 256gb and airpods pro 2nd gen, they were arriving the 16th of January.

3 days later they arrive, the airpods came in fine, but the iphone box came empty, no phone inside, and the box was completely sealed, i contacted apple in the support chat and informed them about this.

The specialist talking with me said that they will start an investigation and send me an email asking for pictures about the package (email that i never received), a day later i received and email from apple saying that the investigation is over and they are taking no action.

So i call apple support and asked why i received that email and they told me that the investigation is completed and they are not sending me a replacement and are not refunding me, and told me to speak with law enforcement and make a report, at this point i got really angry, lastly i ask them if i do this, can i be assured that i will get the phone that i paid for, they said, of course aa long as the report is filed.

So i speak with an officer, told him everything, even got a witness (my friend who was in the room while we were opening the packages) and he took pictures of the package, he said to get in contact with me after that and gave me his card.

Five days later i contacted him and he emailed me the report, after that i get in contact with apple support throught chat and told them that i already have the report and it's approved by the detective supervisor, the specialist tells me that the report case needs a resolution and the detective has to call apple stating that he contacted an investigation about the order and that apple law enforcement is gonna make a final resolution about the case that will take within 3 business days, at that point i was already supposed to have the phone a week ago and this is getting way too long.

Has someone else went throught this and got their phone back?
