Apple tv+, the free sruff?

I recently started the monthly plan with Apple tv+ included, and I want to know, is it just me, or is roughly 90% of what is available is paid movies and TV shows. Why am I paying for a service that has like 10 free shows and literally everything else you have to pay more for? They should just let you watch the apple stuff free of you are watching on an apple product and just have the all the rest as optional to pay for of you want. I'd understand if there were like, hundreds of free things, but there next to nothing compared to what's available. Prime does something similar but at least they have a multitude of free stuff to offer. I dunno. Seems scammy and kind of nickel and dining to me. Kind of like most apps nowadays where you download it free just to find out you can't do anything without spending a fortune on in-app purchases. Throw us a bone here, Apple!
