Visual gap between songs in album.

I have a weird bug where there's a sort of header inside an album even though the album artist, album name and everything else is the same except the artist and name of the song.

Any idea what's causing this? I've tried changing all metadata but to no avail.

gaps between songs I've been experiencing issues with gaps between songs where there shouldn't be on downloaded music on my IPhone SE. I don't have this issue on my desktop. It pretty consistently puts gaps between every second transition on an album that has no gaps (Dark Side of the Moon, live albums, etc.) If I start with a different song the gaps will move up one song transition. Perhaps if I played more of the album I would see more randomness but, well, I'd rather there not be any gaps at all where there aren't supposed to be.

Why Apple Music does not show album cover although it is clearly inside the MP3 file? I have some albums, where the Apple Music app does not show album covers although they are embedded in the audio files. I even have a ridiculous example (attached screenshot) where the album cover is shown in one place and is not shown in another. Does anyone know how can I fix this? Thank you!

iTunes Metadata Reverting on Apple Music (Album & Artist Names, etc.) Whenever I edit an album's metadata, specifically the title, on iTunes, the changes will be made on Apple Music, but within minutes the metadata is changed back to its original form in Apple Music. The edits I made on iTunes stay in place on my computer; they are only reverted on Apple Music. I've mainly had this problem with albums whose tracklists I've edited; for example, I'll add bonus tracks bought on a separate deluxe edition of an album to the standard edition of the album and change the title of the album to something else entirely. However, on Apple Music, the title just reverts back to the original item. I've also encountered this problem when splitting long albums into separate bodies of work; after I manually create new albums to separate the songs into, they both end up reverting to the original album's title. Lastly, when I changed a track's metadata to organize it under a different artist (it was originally under a compilation album that I attempted to redesign as a single under a specific artist), the entire artist's name was changed to "Various Artists" on Apple Music and all of their songs and albums appear as though they are compilations with her name under them. The metadata on iTunes does not show this though; the problem only persists on Apple Music. Is there any way to fix these issues? I am an Apple Music subscriber making these changes on PC; I have also: Unchecked "Keep Itunes Media Folder Organized" Unchecked "Retrieve additional information from the Internet" under Windows Media Player Changed the metadata on iTunes multiple times; it temporarily works, but the changes always revert back on Apple Music. Updated all of my devices to the newest versions and restarted them numerous times. What appears to be the problem? I am not having this issue with cover art or the tracklists themselves; it's only the titles.

The problem was that the 2nd song had a "works name", when I removed it the album changed and now looks like all others. Thank you for your suggestions!

Hello Grobbot,

We understand you have an interesting issue with a blank spot showing in this album. We have some questions and a suggestion for steps to attempt to help with this. Do you notice this blank space only with this specific artist or album? Or does it show for any other albums you have?

For suggested steps, if this is the only album being impacted, we'd recommend removing the album then redownloading it.

Redownload music - Apple Support

1. Open the iTunes Store app.

- On your iPhone or iPod touch: At the bottom of your screen, tap More , then tap Purchased.

- On your iPad: Tap Purchased.

2. Tap Music. If you use Family Sharing, tap a family member’s name to see music that they purchased.

3. Find the music that you want to redownload, then tap it.

4. Tap the download button next to a song or album.
