Volume on Apple TV keeps going to 100% by itself?

Thank you. My Apple Remote battery was low so I recharged it in addition to putting new batteries in the TV remote, I also followed another suggestion to press Apple Remote Menus at the same time as the Volume button and this fixed the problem. This fixed the problem but next time (if) your suggestion seems better.
on Apple TV > System > Restart.
