Audio interface always charges my battery

Hello There,

I have a usb-c audio interface (Apollo Twin X), connected to my M1pro macbook.

The interface is connected to external power.

But instead of just exchanging Data with my macbook, it is also feeding the battery ever so slowly.

I feel this isn't good for my battery's life, it never gets a chance to drop to lower levels of energy, and constantly gets a low power supply through the usb-c port, even when my macbook's own external power is not connected.

Does anyone have a solution for this? How can i prevent my interface from charging my Mac?
