a1419 iMac 27 2017 got slow boot after ssd upgrade

Hi everyone!

I have recently upgraded my Fusion drive with two SSD:

1) PCIe Samsung SSD 980 PRO 1TB

2) SATA Samsung SSD 870 EVO 1TB

Had macOS Monterey clean install and some Time Machine recovery with no actual user files just with apps and settings. I was happy with results it ran better than on Fusion drive.

After iMac been shut off for holidays I came back and got iMac startup boot up to 4 mintues long. When it boots OS it runs smooth, but every cold boot from now is long af.

UPD: I've updated the OS to Ventura and nothing changed,

actually I feel it runs less smooth than before

Whats is wrong with it bros?

You might try looking at the CPU activity with /Applications/Utilities/Activity Monitor.app

sort the %CPU column to see what is using the most of the processor.

You might see a process using up a lot of processing power to give you a clue as to why the machine is responding slowly. One thing than can happen after a fresh install of the OS is the Spotlight indexing process, mdiworker. This will run it's course and when completed indexing the entire drive will only occasionally use CPU power to index new and changed files. If you want to avoid indexing the backup drive, then you can change those settings so that Spotlight will only index the main boot drive and ignore any other external drives you might be using only for backup. Here I have excluded my external backup drive from Spotlight searches, and indexing.
