Memory leak problem in Ventura

I just purchased the base model M2 Mac Mini pro. It is simply unusable! 5-10 minutes after starting Lightroom Classic, i get a app memory message, and endless beach ball. I contacted Apple support and just got hemming and hawing. And cant even restart the mac without pressing the on off button!

What are you doing Apple?

What else is running on the computer when this issue presents itself ?

Activity Monitor >> View >> View All Processes

Look for Unusual processes using too much CPU and or Memory - this is a starter suggestion.

There are additional Trouble Shooting methods but usually this will, at least, give us some idea what is happening on the machine.

Hi, I have exactly the same problem. It happened after migrating to venture on my old M1 Pro. After starting LR memory consumed by LR increases very quickly and after a few minutes I have spinning ball, the same messages and cannot do anything. I have to switch off my MacBook which resulted in destroying my catalog during cloud sync. I have no such problems earlier before Ventura upgrade. It worked very well.

Have you maybe manage to find the solution?
