Loss of haptic feedback after Ventura 13.1 upgrade

MacBook Pro 2021 16"

After upgrading from macOS Monterey 12.6.2 to macOS Ventura 13.1, I lost all haptic feedback from the touchpad as though it had been disabled.

After many failed attempts to resolve it, it left me thinking it could be a hardware fault until I wiped and reinstalled Monterey and did resolve the issue.

Does anyone know if this issue has been addressed in 13.2?

The current stable release of Ventura including bug fixes, security updates is macOS Ventura 13.2 I would start there.
