I have iPhone 13 Pro, and my batter has been terrible. I check my health and it said 99%. Then I noticed Twitter app running 20+ hrs in background over the last 24 hrs. Then checked over the last 10 days and it was 229hrs. I have background app refresh tuned off for Twitter. How is it still running in the background ?

Use Low Power Mode to save battery life on your iPhone or iPad.
Instead of only deleting the app, try reinstalling the app to find out if an improvement is noticed. Please reply back with the results.

Hi and thanks for replying. I had already tried all those things before that’s why I decided to try asking. I have found the same thing happening before with other apps and the only thing that has worked is deleting app. I found another app that I had never opened after downloading and it had ran 10 hrs in background. So I have encountered at least 4 different apps that all had been running in background even though it was turned off for that app. Closing the app didn’t work. It only came to my attention because I would find my phone getting really hot for no reason. Then I noticed it in the and deleted those apps. I didn’t want to delete Twitter but I can have it running 24/7 in background.
