We live in a rural area and have crappy internet service. If I update during the day I will go over my data cap. They offer bonus data between 2 and 8 am. How can I schedule software updates to occur during this time.

sorry, no. there is no mechanism to do that. you would need to manually start the upgrade / update process at that time if you need it to be done during a specific time frame.
That's too bad. You'd think that the powers that be at Apple would've designed something more user friendly when it comes to scheduling updates. Thanks for your response.
