Why doesn't my flight information sync from my gmail to my google calendar anymore?

Whenever I received an email with flight info, it automatically entered into my google calendar. This doesn't happen anymore, even if I check 'add to my calendar'. I have checked "Show events automatically created by Gmail in my calendar" in calendar settings as well as "Turn on smart features and personalization" in my Gmail settings. Can you help?
