Find my giving false notifications to my friends

My fiancé gets notifications when I leave, and arrive our home. He was notified three different times early in the morning that I left, even though I didn’t actually leave. Why would this happen?

Hello Shearbeautybyamy,

This is unusual behavior. You may want to rule out any potential software causes by ensuring that both your device and their device is up-to-date. The update process can frequently address unexpected software behavior. Here's a guide to help: Update your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support.

As it shows in the 1st step, make sure you have a backup of the device before completing any updates.

1. Back up your device using iCloud or your computer.

If both the devices show they are on current software, do the following:

    1. Open Settings.
    2. Tap [your name].
    3. Tap on Find My.
    4. Make sure Share My Location says "This Device".

If the issue remains, you may want to reach out to Apple directly about this issue. You can reach out to them by clicking here: Contact - Official Apple Support or over the phone by calling the number that is most local to your region: Contact Apple for support and service - Apple Support.

Kind regards!
