How to disable NFC

When I put my iPhone 12 Pro up my Volkswagen Passat charging pad. Is starts charging. For 4 seconds. Then it’s telling me to remove all the accessories from the charger pad and it stops charging.

when I pickup my phone it’s starting to use/unlock my cards in ApplePay.

when I try to charge other phones. The same happens.

I started searching the internet and found out it has to do with NFC chips which activates the ApplePay function which stops the charging.

NFC must be activated for my VW, because otherwise my car isn’t starting using the wireless key.

So question is. How can I disable the NFC functionality in my iPhone to use the functionality from my VW?!

I have seen many threads on this, and it will never get solved...

Apparently there is no way to disable iOS NFC feature (it is "passive") and thus Apple blames VW; and VW uses this for several things and does NOT offer the possibility of turning NFC off if you don't need it (which in my case I don't) as other car manufacturers do, and blames it on Apple's bad design (which to me is the main cause, since NFC is used for a ton more things than paying wirelessly with ApplePay...).

Very frustrating but I stop believing in a possible solution
