Unable to set up Traktor Kontrol Z1 with MacBook Air M2 (2022)

Hi,

I have just bought a Traktor controller for using as a crossfader on Ableton Live 10.

It's not showing up on the MIDI Port. I have followed the troubleshooting guides on Native Instruments but nothing seems to be working. When I first plug it in, it flashes for a few seconds but goes off again. It's being recognised in the Audio as Traktor Z1 but nothing more than this.

I have tried downloading the Audio 2 DJ Driver but this is saying 'installation failed' and to contact the software manufacturer... I have done this but they are being very slow with responses and not really listening to what I'm saying.

Does anyone have any advice on this? I'm wondering if it has anything to do with the USB-C connection? I've tried two adapters and have read on NI that I might need a USB-C to USB 2.0 port which I have just purchased online and am waiting for.

I've got a gig coming up soon and I really need this working asap!
