How to apply a transition onto all clips in iMovie?

I am creating big video with a lot of images, and I want to apply a transition onto all clips without needing to drag a transition onto every clip.

Is there a way to do it?

Hi,

You can add cross dissolve transitions in a range by selecting the clips in a range (select 1st clip, Shift-select last clip) then do Edit/Add Cross Dissolve.

If you want to add a universal transition different than cross-dissolve, say the Spin In transition, then add the transition to the first clip, select the transition, select the remaining clips in the range as described above, and then do Edit/Paste.
