Notifications silenced

I was in the Apple store at the genius counter for almost an hour yesterday. Three different workers were not able to get my phone to stop displaying “notifications silenced”to my iMessage recipients. After almost an hour, they told me to call an apple engineer because it’s a known problem and they don’t have a fix for it. They literally tried everything they could think of.
