Modem Recommendation for Airport Extreme & Comcast

I am still using my Airport Extreme router, which is paired with a Zoom modem. My ISP is Comcast. I got a notice that I will have to upgrade my modem by March because it will no longer be supported by Comcast. I have a direct connection to my 2020 iMac, and the rest of the family connects wirelessly. This setup has served 6 people well, even when we were all working and going to school remotely.

1 - What's the best replacement modem to get to use with my AE?

2 - When the AE eventually dies, what routers are recommended now that Apple has stopped making them? I love that router and its easy setup, but know that at some point I'll have to replace it. I'd prefer not to get a mesh router.

You can use the following from Comcast to get a list of approved modems (and modem/router combinations): https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/list-of-approved-cable-modems

Thanks FoxFifth, I've downloaded the new Xfinity app (the MyAccount app is being discontinued) and fingers crossed that this all works.
