Good day sir/maam.

My Aunt is working on Pasay City, Philippines as a maid, after working as a maid in family of Robert someone gave her an iphone 11, when she went home she gave the phone to me because she dont know how to use it. More so, when I opened the phone it is reset and saying "Iphone Locked to Owner" and I told her that can you told the owner of this phone what is the icloud account. She told me that the owner gave it to me and he said that someone gave the phone to him but and he also said that the imac cannot bypass it. It is a nice phone to have an iphone and when I saw it I got happy but sad to say it is locked. I created this account so that asking this community if it can be fix. Thank you and have a nice day to all.

Apple has two related features, Activation Lock ( Activation Lock for iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch - Apple Support ) and Find My ( iCloud - Find My - Apple ), which are designed to prevent anyone else from using an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch if it's ever lost or stolen. Deactivation of either requires knowing the Apple ID and password that set the feature, or by placing a special request to Apple to reset the device. This Apple ID information essentially defines the current ownership of the device.

or this one for disabling Find My if activation lock has not yet engaged --> Turn off Find My on your iPhone or other devices - Apple Support

If you do not know the required information and you do not have the purchase receipt from Apple, get the owner of the account to remove the lock (the section: "If you no longer have your iPhone or iPad" in: What to do before you sell, give away, or trade in your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support ), or recycle the device. The device is otherwise useless to you. If the owner is unknown and has not provided contact information as a message showing in the login screen, there is no way to contact the owner unless the person who gave you the device knows them.

If she does have the original purchase receipt from Apple, go to this site https://al-support.apple.com/#/additional-support
