My iPhone 6S is toast.
I wanted to add an iPhone 6S to my Apple collection, so I picked up an iPhone nobody has used yet.
It hasn't been powered on up until now, 6 years later.
I wanted to restore it because I like everything in my collection to work. So I plugged it in and it said it's at low battery, then I opened Apple Music to see if it would pop up! Nothing, so after that, I let it charge from my Mac for about 1 hour. A few years back, Verizon Wireless tried to fix it with no luck, and for me it came the same way.
I opened iTunes after 1 hour. Still nothing, still at the low battery screen. (even while i'm writing this, it still is.)
I even tried DFU mode, It powered on and did DFU mode normally, but the problem was still there.
I tried doing DFU mode again, yet it refused to do it again for some reason.
I read an article on the Apple Support Community page saying someone had the same problem but with an iPhone 8.
There was an answer with links by a worker. So I read the linked pages, and to my surprise, nothing worked.
And thats where I am right now. I really want this iPhone to work, not as my daily driver (iPhone 11) but as a collector's item. It would help if I got any answers, thank you.
