one bar using iphone bar on iphone 13 inside my house with strong wifi connection

my husband and I have iPhone 13. We use FIOS and have a brand new Wi-Fi router etc. I had FiOS check the Wi-Fi connection and it is fine. We have a strong Wi-Fi connection showing on our phones but with one bar and terrible reception. It does not matter whether we turn the Wi-Fi on the phone off and use cellular or if we have the wifi button on. We only have one bar no matter what we do. We have to walk around the house to try to find a hotspot so we can make outgoing calls, they either drop off or cut out. What is going on with our iPhones? It's ridiculous that I have to walk around my house trying to find a place where I can make a phone call

One thing to note and that is that the One Bar Cellular Signal strength in your house will remain at One Bar unless Verizon improves service in your area. You will have to contact Verizon and discuss options regarding that. NOTE: When you connect your iPhone to a Wi-Fi Network, then it does not improve you cellular signal strength.

You have stated that you have a very strong Wi-Fi Network and connection to your iPhone(s) at your house. Have you activated Wi-Fi Calling with your Verizon service? Wi-Fi Calling will use your Wi-Fi Network to make and receive phone calls and will eliminate the need to use Cellular when in your house.
