I have a macbook 6.1 on OS X Mavericks. The last supported os for it is High Sierra. When I click on the link to this OS in the appstore, the inscription is installed on the button. Please help me, is it still possible to do this?

Be aware High Sierra is already seriously out-of-date.
the fact is that there are no updates available in Software Update, and when you click on the link to the appstore to install it, the gray button is installed. But according to the idea, the macbook 6.1 should support High Sierra
Just to add, it may be possible you will have to upgrade to El Capitan from the same page, before you can install High Sierra.
As I mentioned, you may have to install El Capitan first. When you click on the El Capitan link from the page, it downloads a .dmg file which you mount and run the installer from there.
