Hi there kassidysreallycool,

Thank you for posting to Apple Support Communities.

We understand iMessage is not working for you. We'd be happy to help.

To start with, we suggest restarting your iPhone if you haven't already.

How to restart your iPhone X, 11, 12, 13, or later

  1. Press and hold either volume button and the side button until the power-off slider appears.
  2. Drag the slider, then wait 30 seconds for your device to turn off.
  3. To turn your device back on, press and hold the side button (on the right side of your iPhone) until you see the Apple logo.

Test if the issue continues.

If you're still having an issue, we recommend ensuring that your iPhone is up-to-date. If you need to update, we encourage a backup before updating.

How to back up your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch

Update iOS on iPhone

Test if the issue continues.

If you're still having an issue, take a look at the additional steps in the article here: If you can’t turn on or sign in to iMessage or FaceTime

If you continue to have an issue after 24 hours, it's advised to contact Apple Support: Contact Apple Support

Take care.
