My Fitbit app is not working, and I do not know what it means to force close it

My Fitbit app is not counting steps anymore or even showing steps. How can I get the steps back on my app?

Fitbit app won’t open - new iOS 16.3.1 I just updated software to 16.3.1 and my Fitbit app will not open. It pops up and then shuts down. I’ve removed the app, turned off Bluetooth, forget device on Bluetooth, and shit down my phone several times. It will still not open. Help!!!

i do not have a fitness tracker listed here. i bought an off brand fitness tracker a few years ago which is not listed in the app and therefore not recording my steps. besides purchasing another smartwatch, is there a way to get my steps into the app?
