My phone was dropped in water for 5 seconds and now my face ID isn’t working. I tried to reset Face ID and set it up again, and it will not even let me hit the set up now button.

how do I get my Face ID to work? I dropped it in water literally five seconds and it gave me that message was there’s an issue with Face ID. I tried to disable and reset face ID to no avail and I installed new upgrade and it still is not working help me.

Take the phone into an Apple Store or authorized Apple Service shop for evaluation.

Otherwise, we are just guessing. Best case.....a replacement screen. Worst case.....a replacement phone since water damage is incremental. What works now may not work in a few days.

Unfortunately, Apple won't cover repairs under warranty resulting from water damage.
