Why doesn’t apple introduce a unlimited storage subscription such as google photos (paired with t-mobile)

iphone is extraordinary with photos and videos which creates a-lot of data let us go beyond the wall of a 2Tb limit so we can create more and work on multiple Huge projects with no limitations.

Storage So why do we pay a monthly fee for 2tb iCloud storage if we can only use the same storage capacity of our iphone- ie, my iphone has has 128 gb? But Im paying monthly for 2tb? If we are not going to be able to use more iCloud storage than our phone can physically store we are throwing our money away? Right? Also is there a way to just upload all photos to iCloud and then remove them from the device so we can access them in the cloud when we need them but free up our phone’s storage capacity. What if you need more than 2TB of iCloud storage? I find it absolutely ridiculous that Apple does not offer a higher iCloud storage plan than 2TB. I have a 1TB iPhone 13 ProMax, 1TB iPad Pro, AppleWatch, 5 Apple TVs and a 1TB Mac Pro. Thinking of getting a 4TB Mac Studio for on the road, but I'll never be able to save and sync my files now. I can't even backup my devices. Then you add in all of the apps that use storage, especially Photos. The iPhone camera is constantly improving the quality of photos and videos, which makes each photo & video you take much larger in size. Why not increase the size of our iCloud storage to allow us to save or media and data? I'll gladly pay more. Allow us to upgrade 2TB at a time. iCloud is the most convenient way to backup everything. PLEASE!

Has Apple considered larger than 2TB iCloud plans? I take a lot of photos and videos on my phone and love the “Optimize iPhone Storage” option for iCloud Photos. Over time, I’ve been loading all of my photos to my phone (from previous phones or from old cameras), and now I am getting very close to filling the 2TB plan. Has anyone heard talks of them increasing the limit (for more $ obviously)?
