Excel now not syncing between MacBook Air and iPhone or iPad.

Noticed today that my spreadsheets aren't syncing between the MacBook (main place) and my iPhone or iPad. This has only just very recently occurred. Anyone else have same problem or a solution?

Excel files not opening on iPhone (iOS) and then suddenly on iPad too I cannot open excel files on my what’s app or mail app. I have tried with fully licensed versions of excel and the problem persists. The excel app does open excel files on the cloud but none that are natively sitting in the files app on iPhone/ipad. If I try forward the file it keeps saying that’s it is a “Viber Message Document”. I then deleted Viber and still my iPhone cannot open any excel file and now just says “data” Suddenly my connected iPad Pro cannot open any excel files on the mail app where What’s app or Viber have never been installed on that device. This too, just says “data” when clicking on the excel file. This file and many other excel files have been sent to friends and colleagues with iPhones (through What’s app and mail) and iPads (through mail) and these files open seamlessly on their devices as they once did on my iPhone. When re-installing Viber again it labels it as a “Viber Message Document”. I feel its almost as if Viber has somehow changed the way my iOS reads a file sent that is excel type ( Through What’s App or Mail or any other app that might be able to read that type of file). Apples Numbers cannot open the file either on the files app. I have tried to forward the file as suggested by another user but again there has been no solution, Please assist?

Numbers spreadsheet won't open One particular (and important) spreadsheet won't open on my iMac, MacBook Pro or iPad Air. I get a message telling me it can only be opened on iCloud or a newer Mac. However other spreadsheets open on the computer as usual - they maybe just as old but perhaps not so complex as the one that won't open. So when I open it on iCloud it doesn't work in the same way as on the computer so I'm having to learn how to use a new system - very frustrating especially as on one sheet it won't let me unhide a large number of rows some of which need editing. If I was able to do that then I could manage. The iMac OS is High Sierra 10.13.6 and the MBP is Catalina 10.15.7. The iPad Air is on iOS 16.2 and I realise that would open from iCloud anyway. Funnily enough I was able to download the file as an Excel file and then open it in Numbers on the computer and make the amendments but this file has not uploaded to iCloud. This has only happened in the last couple of months and any help would be much appreciated.

How do I turn off collaboration in Numbers and simply operate the spreadsheet on my Mac? For some reason my spreadsheet is now only available on iCloud, and I only want it on my Mac, accessible on my phone/iPad from the Files app

Problem appears to have resolved itself, must've been a cloud issue?
