My Sony Bravia TV, Apple 4K TV and bluesound pulse soundbar we’re working together nicely. I used my Bluesound app to play music off the sound bar which worked fine but when I went to switch back to using apple TV no sound came out of the soundbar. How can I restore using the soundbar with my apple tv?

Verify that your Apple TV is set to Audio Output to ‘TV Speakers’ and that your TV is set for audio passthrough to the soundbar. If your TV has eARC, then it should have no issue with any audio format that Apple TV may use. If your TV has ARC but not eARC, then set Apple TV to Audio Format Dolby Digital 5.1 (or Stereo).

That is not an Apple TV 4K model. Also, that is an old version system software. Update your Apple TV - Apple Support.

I updated the Apple TV and it still did not work. When I change it to the audio system on the TV there’s no sound. No improvement.
