Hierarchical list in Pages

I have Pages 12.2.1 and I created a hierarchical list I called 'minutes of meeting'. This appears on the document I created in on but if I open a new Pages document the style 'minutes of meeting' is not on the list. It is still on the list in the document I created the list. I gave it a keyboard shortcut but this doesn't seem to work either.

If you create a custom list style in Pages, it exists only in the current document, or in a template saved from that document and reused for subsequent documents. There is no capability to change the Pages application list defaults provided by the application bundle.

You can also use the Format menu copy/paste styles to duplicate a custom list style from an existing open Pages document into a new document.
