transfer M4P Music to iPhone

I transferred my iTunes library from my old phone to my iMac. I saved the music as M4P in a folder on my desktop. How do I then transfer my M4P music to my new iPhone?

Below is the music in a folder:

iPhone 14, iOS 16

You ca:

1 - import them into the Music app

2 - create a playlist of them

3 - connect your iPhone to your Mac via it's charging cable

4 - open a Finder window and select the iPhone in the sidebar

5 - click, on music

5 - select the playlist

6 - sync.

If you're running Ventura you'll use the Music app and the Finder to do this. I believe earlier systems use iTunes. The screenshot is of a Finder window in Ventura.
