Iphone XS Black Screen After Latest Update

I have an iPhone XS 256GB Version Running iOS 16. Yesterday I downloaded the latest update as usual. Then I clicked the install button and the phone rebooted and began to Install the updates. But after the apple logo no progress bar has been showing. Only Black Screen. Then after few minutes apple logo shows up again and Phone turned on. But nothing shows on the display. only apple logo shows up and the screen won`t turn on. But the phone is working totally fine. I can answer the calls, turn on the flash light using lock screen shortcut(by muscle memory) etc.

Then I restored the phone through iTunes and still the same. After the apple logo I can access the recovery mode. but after I connected to pc and clicked the restore button, again no progress bar has been showing. only black screen after apple logo. Then after the restore process completed, Phone turns on normally , But the screen stays Black.

PS - Display is working fine because the apple logo and recovery mode is showing on he display totally fine without any glitches.

I restored my device without keeping any user data. So that'll revert the curtain settings if enabled, right?

Yes that’s right, if you don’t restore your iPhone from a backup, then I think your iPhone need a service, Contact Apple for support and service .

Hey there,

If the screen is not working but you are able to see the Apple logo, the special screen curtain feature in accessibility is usually turned on, even though you have reset your device, you may have restored the device from the backup, it will keep this feature turned on.

Try force restart your iPhone XS:

Press and quickly release the volume up button, press and quickly release the volume down button, then press and hold the side button. When the Apple logo appears, release the button.

if you see the Apple logo and then it’s gone that’s probably the Screen curtain is enabled , and to turn it off press three times by using three fingers on the screen and the screen will turn on, If that works let us know so we will help you to turn off the voice over.

And if the curtain mode enabled , is that also affects to the screen which shows the progress bar while restoring through the itunes? I couldnt see that progress bar too. After the apple logo screen went totally black without showing any progress bar. But the restoration process was completed without any error. ( i could hear the vibrations and sounds from the phone totally fine, even after the restoration process.
