I’m disappointed in the Apple Watch ultra. It is $400 more than the series 8 and yet it is only for fitness. It needs to have social media, Lyft/Uber on it, diabetes reader.

Interesting to be disappointed in a product which doesn't have something, it can't have because what you want hasn't been developed by the ONLY people who can develop it. Which of course is Lyft and Uber. If you want these apps on Apple Watch (any model, not just Ultra), let Lyft/Uber know your disappointment.
Apple has no ability to do anything with 3rd party apps.

apple don't make the apps all the content providers makes the app and sell or give it for free in the app store
