iPhone 11

My 1 month old new iPhone 11 back camera is staking, doesn’t capture, doesn’t focus and now the battery capacity dropped into 98%

Start here:

If the camera or flash on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch isn't working

For the battery capacity issue, depending on usage, that is normal and is nothing to worry about. Generally, Apple will replace the battery under warranty if the battery health falls below 80% during the first year.

The iPhone 11 was discontinued in September of 2022.


A drop in battery health of 1% per month of use is about average. It’s not linear, so I wouldn’t be concerned about it.

When it drops to 80%, the battery should be replaced.


If you’re having other problems, you should make an appointment at the Genius Bar of your local Apple Store and have it checked.
