Turkish Magic Keyboard Special Characters Keyboard Shortcuts

There are some characters which are NOT THE SAME although they look THE SAME.

For example;

“Greater than sign” and “Close angle bracket”

Both looks as the same as “>”

However they cause serious problems on Microsoft Excel.

Same thing applies for the “quotation mark”

I don’t know the versions of quotation mark but they do not work on Excel. (On Formulas)

So I need “Full Character List Keyboard Shortcuts For Turkish Keyboard”

So I type the right version of the characters on the formulas.

Can you share the list please?

Shift on the key next to Z or option 1 both make the Greater Than. I don't see any angle brackets. Do you need them?

Normal quotation marks ( " ) are made with the key beneath escape (unless you have the system or app set to auto convert these to "smart punctuation" or "curly" quotes)

For problems with Excel, often best use the forum run by the folks who make it:

You are mistaken about that. Those are two names for the same character, U+003e Greater-Than Sign. Here is a reference.

Your problems with Excel lie elsewhere.

There are different “Dictate Text Commands” on the official list of Apple. (English version)

So I think they are different.

That quotation mark does not work on excel I’d better ask those in an Mac Excel Forum If you don’t have a solution.

It does not matter whether you use Apple's dictation to say "greater than sign" or "close angle bracket", they are the exact same character, U+003e, and that character is what will appear on your screen when you dictate. There is no way for the keyboard or computer to distinguish between those names.
