Facebook needs local network access but not showing the prompt to allow it

I recently changed phones and am now using iPhone 11 with iOS 16.3. Facebook needs local network access but there is no option to allow this under privacy settings.

Ive tried contacting Apple Store, Apple phone support and Facebook app developer.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app a number of times.

How do I get the app to prompt for local network access. Until this is available I can’t cast to the tv. All other apps are casting fine.

If all other apps are working fine, and if you've already updated your FB app, and if you went to Settings>Cellular enabling FB for cellular data, the problem shouldn't come from your iPhone.

Re-contact FB support team and explain your problem.

Giulio
