What is the most recent version of Apple Photos that works with Mac OS 10.15 Catalina? I'd like to have maximum compatibility between my 2015 MacAir with that OS and my newer 2020 MacBook Air with MacOS 12.6 Monterrey (which has been upgraded to Apple Photos 7.0). Thanks.

Photos comes with the OS. You cannot upgrade Photos independent of the OS, and so, without upgrading the OS (if possible) there will always be a mismatch between the two versions.
