Return Question (damaged box)

hello,

I bought the apple watch 8 last thrusday, and after wearing it for a few days, I know for sure that I want to exchange it for the Apple Watch Ultra. I have the box, however, it got damaged (had it next to a bottle that had some condensation) so the corner is a little discolored. Can I still make the return (I am within the 15 day window) and upgrade to the ultra?
