Apple TV picture distorted (diagonal ) on browser - was fine until recently

this problem is the same on MS Edge and Brave browsers.

Same issue. It has been working fine up to this point -- suddenly it looks like the old days when cable channels were scrambled.


The really bizarre part is that all of the preview videos play fine, the video clips on the background of the site work fine, it's JUST the shows themselves that are scrambled.

This just began happening to me as well. Yesterday, I was on my Windows laptop, using Brave (Chromium-based browser), and everything was fine. This morning, I started watching an episode via the Brave browser on my Mac and it was fine. I closed that window and moved to my laptop, maybe a 5 minute break, and it's distorted on my laptop browser.

I've had this problem for a few weeks now and when I contacted apple for support I get asked if my graphics driver is updated and if everything else is up-to-date. I did what they asked but I'm doing all the footwork.


First call was over an hour and second one was 50 minutes and they are still trying to put it on me. I told him that this needs to be escalated and the engineers need to do their job and stop putting it on the consumer. The cust svc person was trying to tell me that only one other person has contacted them about this. This is pure horse hockey!!!


Apple, Step It Up And Get This Fixed!!


I got appletv+ for free for one year but when it comes time for renewal, I'll pass unless this changes.
