apple watch

my apple watch was working great then I needed to update it and it had me reset the watch. Now it has the incorrect apple ID. I have tried to unpair and reset and every time it takes me to the wrong apple id and it will not allow me to correct it.

Your Watch is showing you the Apple ID that set it up. It is Activation Locked to that Apple ID. The only way to remove the Activation Lock is by using that Apple ID to do so. BTW, Activation Lock is to prevent lost or stolen Apple devices from being used by others.
