-how can i set up all 4 speakers to work on my i pad mini?
Either surround sound and stereo with all 4 ?

The iPad mini has only two speakers - not four. Don’t be fooled by the other grille apertures; while sound may be heard from them, they are not speakers.
When positioned in Landscape orientation, the iPad mini6 has one speaker on the left side - and one speaker on the right side - providing a stereo L/R pair.
